THE CHRISTMAS BEACON is a charming, uplifting story that will touch your heart. Do miracles still happen? This question is the story's catalyst. I'd take a miracle anytime, but wouldn't it be sweeter to receive one at Christmastime? There's just something about Christmas...
THE CHRISTMAS BEACON has some basis in real life. My precious mother passed from cancer in 1981. Many of us have loved ones and friends who have been afflicted by this horrible disease. How many times have we called upon God to heal and restore them?
I wrote this story to remind readers that God does hear our prayers, but He answers as He chooses. He moves on His timing, not ours. While we wait, it's inevitable that our faith will be tested, but when we earnestly ask for God's help, He answers!
This novella was written with Jacksonville, Florida as the backdrop. I hope this story will glorify God first and bless others as a result. Please share THE CHRISTMAS BEACON with your friends and feel free to drop me a note with your comments. I'd be delighted to hear from you!
Finally, I want to put this story into the hands of anyone who's struggled (or is struggling) against cancer. Remember, what I said about my mother's battle against this dreadful disease? There is hope!
God is still in control and longs to show us his love and his mercy. I'd like to provide you, your family and friends with a "faith-lift " of sorts--so that you know we're never alone! God bless you!
